Knitting and crochet blog week #3 - Photography day

The instructions are to photograph our knitting in a setting or in a way not done before.

Here's mine

Nest Egg
No fakery - the nest is a collared Dove's, photographed when she took five minutes to stretch her wings.   She comes every year to our garden and raises several clutches of eggs, this is her second this year (I confess, however, she doesn't usually share her nest with my knitting)

Wow, what a great shot. I love the look of your knitting with it, perfect for springtime. We were starting to get a nest in the beams over our courtyard but I think they abandoned it, probably when they realized how much we were in and out throughout the day.

I wonder whether your local dove would ever collect strands of wool to line her nest. Thank you for your fun comment on my 5KCBW Dating Profile. It made my day and I got to discover your blog. I love its colour palette which, to me, has an air of sophistication. I am also impressed that your latest photograph matches the scheme perfectly - was that on purpose or just luck? All the same it is lovely.
